Caz Love

In Caz Love’s work the garment becomes a representation of a woman’s body,

a figure in relation to nature, a sort of goddess in defiance of the man-made world.

In these emotional and intimate works the artist explores the female gaze,

which seeks to empathize rather than objectify.

Ms. Love explores inner worlds and other worlds, including those from dreams,

faerie tales and mythology. Her work seeks to continue to invent a greater

feminine visual lexicon, one that affirms the body, the psyche

and female generative and creative power.

Her work is informed by oneiromantic traditions, Great Goddess theory,

eco-feminism and ritual praxis.
